Disability Access Fund (DAF)
Supporting children with SEND to access early education.
If your child receives Disability Living Allowance (DLA), St Paul’s Pre-school may be able to claim the Disability Access Fund.
This funding helps us:
Improve accessibility
Purchase specialist equipment or resources
Make reasonable adjustments
Support inclusion and participation in all activities
We make sure families are aware of DAF and how it can support their child’s time with us. If you think your child may be eligible, please speak to us confidentially.
Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)
Extra support for your child’s learning.
Some 3‑ and 4‑year‑olds may qualify for Early Years Pupil Premium, which provides additional funding to the preschool to enhance your child’s experience.
We use EYPP to:
Provide additional learning resources
Support language, communication, and social development
Offer targeted small‑group activities
Strengthen home–preschool learning links
Enhance staff training to support children’s individual needs
We actively share information with families about EYPP and encourage eligible parents to apply. If you’re unsure whether you qualify, we’re always happy to help you check.
Session Times:
Children are required to attend two sessions per week or more. Our sessions last between three and six hours. Children staying after 12pm should bring their own packed lunch and drink.
Monday to Friday
Drop off: 9am
Pick-up: 12pm or 3pm (before or after lunch club)
Attending within these set timings gives our children a sense of structure and routine, and allows them to feel part of the St Paul’s family as they experience a morning or a day at preschool with their new friends.
