St Paul’s Pre-school is managed by Silvia Brown (BA Primary Practice/EYTS), one of our seven Early Years Educators. Her superb team of staff includes Monica Hampson (Deputy Supervisor/Special Educational Needs co-ordinator- BA Early Years) Sarah Parsons (Deputy Supervisor- QTS) Kate Al-Mukhtar, Cathy Blackburn, Leonie Plant and Anne Hughes (EY teachers- Level 3)
The adult-to-child ratio is 1:6, with each child allocated their own key worker who supports them throughout their time at Pre-school. The key worker is fully responsible for their individual assessment and learning journal, and is the first point of contact for the parent.
Staff undertake training and development, which is assessed internally and externally – indeed, one of our Early Years Practitioners is currently undertaking the Level 4 course in Early Years Education and the Senior members of the team run workshops involving the wider Early years Network in Winchester and in-house training events.
